Leave the preachin' to the preachers
Share the lovin' with the loved
Shameless teaching is our breeding
From ole mystery up above
Shot
Hey now; hey now
Cost forever for my sin
Sick and tired of all this bullshit
Consumungers cramp my style
Chasin' harry like its diamonds
selling fortune for a smile
Shot
hey now; hey now
Cost forever for my sin
hey now; hey now
Wipe that smile right off your
We are the chosen of people
We live in glorious times
We are the luckiest people
Alive
Maybe you amongst the pagans
Lying dormant for a while
Almost nothing now will save you
Feet are burning from the fire
shot
Hey now; hey now
cost forever for my sss...sin
Hey now; hey now
Wipe that smile right off your
We are the chosen of people
We live in glorious times
We are the luckiest people
Alive
Maybe you amongst the pagans
Lying dormant for a while
Almost nothing now will save you
Feet are burning from the fire
Shot
Hey now; hey now
cost forever for my sss...sin
Hey now; hey now
Wipe that smile right off your
We are the chosen of people
We live in glorious times
We are the luckiest people
Alive
We are the chosen of people
We live in glorious times
We are the luckiest people
Alive
The luckiest people alive
Yeah... Yeah...
The luckiest people alive

As written about by Ian Sandercoe:
A song about misguided religion. A young girl on heroin throwing away all her dreams for a taste. The chorus refers to hope in knowing that in death there is life, children know this and choose it (heroin/suicide/apathy), the world is dead to them, and they choose not the world and its lies. The young are calling, elders are not truly listening.
